Regards, Today I am going to explain all about what is adhd and its symptoms, ADHD stands for Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. It is a condition which affects their behaviour. People with ADHD may seem restless and trouble concentrating.

ADHD is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders of childhood. It is usually first diagnosed in childhood and their symptoms can be worsen in adult phase.

A person with ADHD may have trouble paying attention, Is Hyperactive controlling impulsive behaviours (may act without thinking about what the result will be), or be overly active then normal people. 2. Hyperactive-impulsive

Hyperactive impulsive behaviours:-,

  1. They twist the body right to left, impatient, jumps continuously.
  2. Can not sit still
  3. They can not stay quiet.
  4. Is always moving, such as running or climbing on things. (In teens and adults, this is more often described as restlessness.)
  5. Talks excessively
  6. Is always “on the go,” as if “driven by a motor”.

3. Combined

    1. They are attention deficit and hyperactive impulsive both nature is present.

What causes ADHD?

Genetic factorsChemical imbalance like dopamine and nor epinephrine.

  1. If exposure to environmental risks/chemical (e.g., lead) during pregnancy or at a young age.
  2. Alcohol and tobacco/ cigarette smoking during pregnancy.
  3. Premature delivery.
  4. Low birth weight.
  5. Brain structure and functioning affected

  • Developing healthy eating habits, such as eating plenty of fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, and choosing and protein sources.
  • Participating in daily physical activity based on their age.
  • Limiting the amount of daily screen time from TVs, computers, phones, other electronics and etc.
  • Getting the accurate hours of sleep.
  • Eating non sugary food items.
